Greetings church family,
Things may look a little different around here! We’ve been working to update the Terrace Shores website, so welcome to the new space! We wanted to make it easier to navigate, show off a little of what we’ve been up to, and give it a fresh look.
On the homepage you’ll see how new sermons, events, and updates are posted, as well as being included in the navigation to find easily (sermons under the media tab, and bulletins are included in each as a little folder icon to download). The Livestream will continue to be hosted on our Facebook page on Sundays at 8am central time both live and in-person, with a second service at 10am at the church (not livestream). Please visit our Covid-19 Updates page for the latest information on guidance around services. Sermons will be posted on Vimeo on Sunday afternoons and on the website within a couple days.
Other examples to check out on the new site are our updated Serve page, showing ideas of service opportunities needed during this time. The Gather page gives examples of ways to get involved in community at Terrace Shores (but please check updates on meeting based on Covid-19).
Connection is key to relationships, and communication is key to connection. George Bernard Shaw, the Irish literary critic, playwright, and essayist who died in 1950, once said, “The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.” This website update is an effort to improve our communication. It really is our desire that this new website format helps us communicate effectively, helps you feel connected to this Terrace Shores Church Family, and ultimately honors the Lord.
We are thankful to have you a part of our community, whether in person or online.
Have a great day,
Gary
