Dear Terrace Shores Family,
When I mentioned this coronavirus situation is fluid, I didn’t realize that I would be getting back to you so quickly with a change in our church schedule for tomorrow, March 15. After seeing further developments in our country, and talking with a variety of medical people, other church leaders, various pastors, and our TS staff and leadership, we have decided to cancel Sunday School and most of our regular worship services at TS tomorrow., March 15.
Our TS worship team and staff will be meeting at 8 am, tomorrow, to record our service which we will then post online, on our church webpage and facebook page. That should be up by later in the morning. This live service may be a bit different since we are recording it to put in online, and people may come to worship with us during this time if you like. But for most, especially those with weakened health conditions, we encourage you to stay home and worship with us online.
The issue that our nation is facing is different than any situation most of us have seen in our lifetimes. We love to have our church family gather for worship, yet when our leaders in government and the health field are encouraging such precautions, we want to display our love for others by seeking to care for them, and help retard the spread of this virus. And from what it appears, this situation may continue for a number of weeks; no one knows how long.
Please gather your family for worship and join us online tomorrow. Or as I mentioned, you are able to worship with us during that 8 A.M. recording time if you strongly desire that, since we are not yet prohibited from meeting. But please be praying with us for God’s protection, and His working in all of us, to teach us the lessons He has for us in this pandemic.
We will attempt to stay in touch as things develop next week. Thank you dear church family.
